Betta Spits Pellets Out

Hes been problematic very lethargic not moving laying on his side a lot i thought he was dead the other day as he would not move at all.

Betta spits pellets out. So in a lot of cases your betta will spit food out a couple of times because he literally can t swallow it. So in a lot of cases your betta will spit food out a couple of times because he literally can t swallow it. If its lethargy the most common problem is the water temperature if you raise the temperature with a heater then it could possibly be the size of the tank or the condition of your water.
