My Betta Fish Bowl Has Bubbles
Your betta is fine.
My betta fish bowl has bubbles. Do i remove it or should i leave it alone. It s ok to put a male and female fish in the same bowl right. What do i do.
Betta fish blow large bubble nests if they want to spawn. However in the future when you are able he would love even more to be in a 2 5 or 5 gallon tank. Well fear not my fellow betta fish lover.
Everywhere i read that this is a sign of a happy healthy fish but my fish is acting just like the one that died earlier. Betta fish blow bubble nests when they are happy or when they want to mate. What your fish is doing is prepping a bubble nest.
My betta fish has the bubbles in a clump in his fish bowl i heard this is healthy. It doesn t have a filter it s in a bowl the size of a basketball or a little smaller and has pebbles on the bowl. I just dont know what to do with it now.
Bettas will also spend time at the top of the water drawing in atmospheric air which could result in them blowing some small bubbles. You would see twice the number of happy bubbles. Just not a male and a male.
This behavior is primarily seen in male bettas and all males will blow a bubble nest at some point in their life though some females will do this as well. Does that mean stress on the fish. If you find your female betta fish.
