My Betta Fish Keeps Sinking
It helps the fish rise and lower in the water much like a buoyancy control device a diver might use.
My betta fish keeps sinking. Any idea as to what could be the cause. Just wanna point out that i m new to this subreddit and also new to posting on forums. I am aware of swim bladder but i do not overfeed.
So my betta layed eggs yesterday and it hatched today but my frys are sinking to the bottom of the bowl the male picks them up and bring them back to the bubble nest but they again sink to the bottom what should i do what should i feed them when should i start feeding them when should i remove the male from the tank. Sorry if formatting is wonky. Im going to make the water lower so it s easier for him to get air.
When he tries to swim he only declines back to the bottom. He swims almost upright and he sinks when he tried. He s sinking but trying to swim up well he can swim up.
He keeps sinking to the bottom. What do i do. Is it because f what im feeding him.
Other abdominal organs may become enlarged and affect the swim bladder. Cysts in the kidneys fatty deposits in the liver or egg binding in female fish can result in sufficient enlargement to affect the swim bladder. The swim bladder is a gas filled sac inside your fish.
I have a 5 week old betta fry he is over half an inch and has been doing well until now. He would act normal and swim up to my face excitedly but mostly chill at the bottom of the tank which is unlike him. He had made a bubble nest and continued to act normal for the most part till yesterday 14th and today 15th.
