Betta Eggs Without Nest

Will my betta fish make a bubble nest if he is unhealthy or has fin rot.

Betta eggs without nest. It is believed that is the main reason betta fish build bubble nests. Unlike the bubble nest building bettas the female guards the area which the male takes to brood. When i went to take out what i thought was food it wasn t food i think that they are eggs.

The process can take up to quite a few hours. Furthermore once a female betta fish releases her eggs into the build nest she no longer has any responsibility. The male betta didn t make a lot of bubble nest but i released the female anyway last night.

I dont know. The male however will fight off potential perils and guard the bubble nest until the eggs hatch.

The eggs keep falling down to the bottom and the male is constantly picking up the falling eggs. Securing eggs inside bubbles means that they are kept moist and are surrounded by oxygen rich air and this is why betta fish build bubble nests. I just wondered whether the eggs can still hatching without the bubble nest if they are floating.

They are all seperated but today i was looking at my female and realized she s pregnant. Aside from releasing the eggs the female betta fish do not play any role in raising or protecting the young. July 6 2019 at 7 49 pm.
