Betta Fish With Endler Guppies
Feeding your betta and endlers livebearers.
Betta fish with endler guppies. The male endler s are the brightly colored fish. I will give it a try and if i notice any aggression i will just put them in my 55 gallon. In general you will need at least 10 gallons to keep any tankmates with a betta.
So i d suggest it only if you have other accommodations in which to move the endler s if it doesn t work. The advantage to endler s is that they lack the brightly colored flowing fins that the fancy male guppies have. However if you have a female guppy that s too colorful then the end result could also be bad.
I ve also kept fancy guppies with a betta no problem. However endlers livebearers are. So it s a possibility that you could add them to the tank with your betta.
Female guppies look a lot duller than male guppies. Bettas are carnivores so they ll require lots of meat whether it be freeze dried frozen or live. Size is the first thing to consider when purchasing a betta that will live with your guppy.
Since they can breed with normal guppies some people consider them one and the same. Your betta and endlers livebearers require different food in order to get the nutrition they need. Guppies and betta fish can indeed live together but not all species of betta are suited for your guppy.
My tank is well stocked with plants and i have a bunch of floating guppy grass thanks to aussiehippie and various mosses floating to help the endlers out. That s why i was hoping they could live with a betta. I didn t even know they we guppies when i looked at them until i was told.
