He was pretty active when i first got him but i ve noticed that recently he is quite inactive and tends to hide and or sit on random objects in the tank including the filter. 4 months ago i adopted a veil tail male betta fish named spaz. I feed him twice a day and he has seemed very happy but now it seems as though he is making a nest at the bottom.

He is in a 1 5 gallon tank with pebbles and a few fake plants.
